"Haha.  I thought I'd help boost your ego a bit more by letting you know that I was browsing wists.com a bit earlier and saw that someone had added this to their favorites!  (In case you don't know what wists.com is, it's a website that essentially acts as a wishlist for anything on the internet.)"

I just got up 10 minutes ago and this totally makes my whole day!!!  do you still have the link?

"this is awesome!
I am fairly new to ceramics, and definately a novice when it comes to glazing,
may I ask how you did the drawing?"
S

i painted on my base colors first, 3 coats as per the instructions on the bottle, and when those layers were dry i traced in on with carbon paper, and painted over top of that

What did you use to draw the character? Did you use under glaze or slip or something else??

I definitely hitting "This Rocks!" I'm making Rejected pillowcases for my brother and his wife. One will say "Tuesday's coming, did you bring your coat?" and the other will say "I'm the Queen of France!" I eventually want to make them a bedpread with the "silly hat's only" screencap on it.

you just inspired me for what to make my 12 year old brother for his 13th birthday. he LOVES these cartoons online, and i can just imagine his reaction when he gets a cereal bowl with this in the bottom of it, and a big spoon for his birthday. THANK YOU. and props on your creativity...a spoon rest. heh. love it!

I freakin' LOVE this!  What an awesome idea.  I'd break out into hysterics every time I put a spoon on it. Smiley  It looks great too!
