i painted on my base colors first, 3 coats as per the instructions on the bottle, and when those layers were dry i traced in on with carbon paper, and painted over top of that

What did you use to draw the character? Did you use under glaze or slip or something else??

I definitely hitting "This Rocks!" I'm making Rejected pillowcases for my brother and his wife. One will say "Tuesday's coming, did you bring your coat?" and the other will say "I'm the Queen of France!" I eventually want to make them a bedpread with the "silly hat's only" screencap on it.

you just inspired me for what to make my 12 year old brother for his 13th birthday. he LOVES these cartoons online, and i can just imagine his reaction when he gets a cereal bowl with this in the bottom of it, and a big spoon for his birthday. THANK YOU. and props on your creativity...a spoon rest. heh. love it!
