EDIT: I just posted a reply at the end, but I guess I'll add it here, too. There's a tutorial on how to add the beads around the edges in my blog: http://themermaidsden.blogspot.com/

I've been doing some embroidered jewelry lately (not sure if I should post this to jewelry, too), and I really like the idea of wearable embroidered jewelry. Here's what I've made so far:

(Now let's see if I can get the photos to show up!)

A bracelet:

Some earrings:

And finally, a pendant:

Let me know what you think!

They are absolutely lovely, all of them, and I especially like the earrings!
I love how you really bridged the embroidery/jewelry thing, so they look precious in both worlds. I think they're really special.

Those are gorgeous and inspiring!  I especially like the blue-green-purple color combo in the bracelet and matching earrings.  Now I need to start thinking about making embroidery to wear...

Thanks! It's hand embroidery. I wish I had a sewing machine. I use hand-dyed (by me) cotton cloth, regular old DMC embroidery floss, and seed beads. And some other cloth/faux leather stuff to cover my stitching on the back. I have more detailed photos of how I make some of these in my blog, if you want to see how it's done.

And thanks for the nice comments from everybody else, too!

Haha, yeah I'm into french knots because I'm fairly new to embroidery, and they are easy and look good.
