Hello All!!

I don't think I've ever posted a topic in here... But anyway, I drew this because I want a big painting to put at the end of my hallway, something I'd done myself. And, my painting and drawing skills are nothing to rembrandt and others, so I go cartoon. Smiley

Here is my Puppy - Ludo!! Yes, from the Labrynth.. Smiley

He's a Staffy puppy, about 4 months old. The cutest markings! I'm thinking of either a black and white, or a hot colour like Lime Green and cream... But I haven't decided yet. I'll keep thinking.

Any comments appreciated!!!

I think you did a great job of capturing your puppy's personality!  I love the big soulful eyes and the bumblebee too Grin

Thankyou Bunsen! I think it's very him. He'll cock his head like that whenever he's listening. Like, I'll say, Bed time, and he'll sulk. Then, I say good boy, because he's stayed in the bed, and he'll cock his head like that.

Cheesy

Best Puppy Ever!! Any thoughts on colouring? I'd love to have this welcoming me in the hallway,

In real life, he's a dark brindle, with white accents. And under the white fur, he has black spots all over his skin.

Here - another pic!! It's one of my favourites, very much a - why are you taking a picture? look. Smiley You can see the spots on him, and the darkness of his brindle. Smiley

Maybe I should go bright, but rather then solid, go for a brindle texture, and show up all his spots. But maybe that'd be too much for such a simple cartoon pic.

I think your drawing is cute!

My dog looks very much like yours and both my dogs have these spots too! I heart them so very much!

My Jack Russell has these spots too but you can only see him on his coat when he is wet. His belly is covered in spots too!
