Ruffled Tomato Apron

That is one cute apron.  When I first saw the picture, I thought it was a skirt.  The 3rd ruffle is my favorite...I love lime green and red prints.

Aprons usually aren't my thing, but this really caught my eye.  Love the bright colors!

It probably wouldn't be *that* hard to modify the pattern enough to make it into a skirt...just maybe take the width of the apron and multiply it by 2.5 or something? I'm not much of a clothing designer though...so this might be a completely deluded suggestion...(anyone else have any ideas?)

I love that apron; the pattern and the fabric! I don't have that *particular* fabric, but I am sure I have enough in my stash to make an apron today ... I must make it .... today. I think I might try to put in a pocket as well - the second tier? I'll let you know how it turns out.

Not sure how I stumbled onto this post, but I did, and I love the fabric you used for the ties!  Do you remember where you got it?  I think I NEED a skirt out of that!

keeperrox: I ordered the fabric from equilter.com. They have a huge selection of practically any print or theme you could ever want. Both wonderful and dangerous!
