Such sweet little babies! Aww!
Once I was house sitting and they had baby cardinals in a hanging plant. I happened to be there when they flew the first time, it was the cutest thing ever. One by one they flew to a little nearby tree. The last little guy was scared and he sat there for ages chirping for his mommy, while she chirped encouragement from the tree and his siblings waited patiently. It was adorable.

i took some of the best birdy pictures today and then deleted them by mistake

i will get out with the camera again tomorrow there are all kinds of birds comming into miami right now.

ahh birding in Miami... There's lots of fun stuff down there! (Are the blue and gold macaws that lived on US1 by UM still there? They used to fly down the street every night at sunset!) And you have to make it out to Alligator Alley!

Coral Castle is AWESOME and you have to go.

The aviary.... I don't know.. I know my rents and I stopped at a random bird rehab down in the keys somewhere.. let me see if I can find it for you.

The most notable things I remember there were the Great White Heron (GBH - White morph) and a Northern Gannet. Of course, you can't really count them in your life list.. Sad
