so i've been working on this painting for a while...with gouache, watercolor, ink, charcoal, chalk, oil, colored pencil, marker, etc.  now that i'm close to getting finished, i noticed that the middle looks kind of naked, and i'm wondering what i could do to fix that...anyway, here's what i have at this point

i really think i need to do something with the middle right section to kind of tie it together, but i don't want it to look too busy...any suggestions??

I find this interesting... It's not really my style but I like the swirly quality. It seems fresh even though you said you've been working on it awhile. I think it could use animals or just some more contrast in some areas.

A bear in eskimo style on the left sandy bank by the rock drinking some water... ..  I  like  the water..
the picture is very vibrant..  Or some more red on the far bank where it meets the water..

It's finished! Just let it be. It's beautiful. Very Van Goghesque!

I totally love this!
Think I'd leave it like it is though. I really like all the swirly lines - it's so pretty - and I don't think I've really seen anything like it before... Well done.
