my take on vintage hand fans
I have been wanting to do these for a long time, its been on my long list of things to make.....        I used matt board so it would be sturdy had to use a drill to do the holes for the rivets or eyelets . still not sure of the difference between them. come join in , add yours ,Id love to see them. Iam thinking on making a fabric one next.

these are fun to make..

Eyelets have holes in their middles (like on tennis shoes) rivets are solid (like on jeans). Neat fans!

these are so fun to make, that I made some of fabric I used peltex to stable the fabric, so it wouldnt flop. And I used fabri- tac so I didnt have to sew...  hehe

How cool! I was just thinking last night that I should try to make a hand fan, but I wasn't sure how to go about it. Thanks for posting those!  Cheesy
