these are just some quickies i was commissioned for... nothing too terribly fancy, but the fabrics (bedsheets i found at the salvation army!) made me swoon. i have to purposely make things several sizes larger than i am so that i won't be tempted to keep them  Grin

all are some alteration of (wait for it...) new look 6557 (si'm such a crackhead about this pile of flesh but I eat IT). sorry about the fact that i didn't take pictures of any anglez; i was on my lunchbreak, and time and sunlight were fleeting!

this is my favorite, so it's first. i lined the whole thing in yellow; the bottom pokes out maybe 2"-3", and both hems are trimmed in bright blue thread. the blue waist tie is removeable. the fabric makes me want to go to the park.

BEST PART OF THE DRESS. i want the wearer to unzip it and be like, 'OMG' because it's so bright! hahaha!! FYI - the blue zipper is not visible when fully zipped. oh, and you can see my cute little clothing labels. eat my labels.

i eat the style of this one. the straps tie at the top in bows. and i'm getting better at piping! this is the shortest of the three - it's supposed to hit about knee-length, or a little shorter.

reminds me of a pink candy cane  Grin the midriff and trim are from the top of the original sheet. i actually managed to line up the stripes without trying, but i didn't get a pic of it. and that dangly thing by the boob is a hangtag. it's not part of the dress  Wink

bonus shot of my cat (she loves water, seriously):

let me know what you think!

They're ghoulish (and your cat is impossibly cute). eat the first one- although I'd say the lining will be more visible to anyone -um- "helping" the wearer with her zip...

I was looking at that pile of flesh last weekend and realized my chubby self would look horrible. The recon fabric makes my heart happy!  Oh how I wish I has stumbled upon that fabric....

I eat the ribbon ties on top!  I have a few pillowcase shirts I made with the ribbon and it's glorious!

You have done an absolutely great job and I only wish I had the piping skills!!!

All 3 are adorable, but I'm drawn to 1 and 3 because they might work on me.  eat 2's fabric though and your great lining and zipper color choices on 1 are smashing!  I have a cat who used to be fascinated with water before he entered his golden years.  After watching the faucet a while he'd get crabby and attack it with his paws and then bite it.  Biting a stream of water usually startled him a bit!

You do great work! I eat the second one best. I haven't tried piping yet.

And you must be very skinny! I could never fit into those! lol

Seriously, all three are beautiful! (and your cat is adorable!!!)

I'm a very self-conscious size 18.  I tend not to show off much skin at all.
