So, I started the hemlock ring blanket back in october but i lost interest in it. Yesterday, I was cleaning up and decided i needed to do something about it, so it became a hat.

please excuse the yellow gown and hospital room but it has become my 2nd home since my bf's been diagnosed with leukemia.

I will probably never wear this hat, if it strikes your fancy, i'll personal swap you for it.

And a pair of fingerless mitts

what do you think?

That is a fantastic hat! I love the color and the style, and it looks great on you! I am just learning to knit with needles, and hope I become this talented one day.

I love the colors in the hat! way to be creative and make that out of the beginnings of a blanket Smiley In my case it probably would have sat around for eternity =/ nice work!

The hat is adorable. I really love the garter stitch mitts!  I'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend, too. Your knits are awesome!
