This is the quilt that was given to me by some friends of my mum when I was born. I remember reading my name and learning my date of birth from this and am still very fond of it aged 26 so I thought it would be nice to post it here and see other babies getting something similar Smiley

If you make one please show me!!

This is so sweet!

I am currently making something similar.  I'm making one hand embroidered square for the four members of my little family plus one with the date our family was established.  In between the embroidered squares I'm going to put a quilted square (though I haven't decided on a pattern yet).  So it will be 3x3.  I'm sure I'll post pictures when I'm done but its going to be awhile!
