Having bought looooooads of suedette for 5, I proceeded to make a bag for myself and one for my mum:





using old curtains from her parents' house as lining and at the top of the pocket:



Mine is lined with really thick felt because I'm intending to use it for carrying my computer:



They look grey in the pictures but this is closer to the actual colour:



We both love them and I'm proud because it was my first attempt at making a base for a bag (techincal term??)

Thanks for any comments and suggestions!!
