Chakra necklace and hematite bracelet set

OK - I took pics of these pieces to post on here...

there is a necklace with a pewter pendant and a magnetic hematite bracelet



it is made with stones that are used for Chakras in the traditional 7 Chakra sets - the clear is a crystal quartz, then red jasper, orange/red aventurine, yellow argonite, unakite for green which is a traditional heart stone in this position, sodalite for the blue postion, and amethyst is of course purple 

this is a close up of the bracelet, it is made with the same stones in 4mm size with tibetan silver findings:


I am going to make earrings to go with it, and maybe another bracelet with a toggle clasp so if the hematite is being worn as a necklace then there is a bracelet to go with it too.

I am not sure if I like the way the necklace is put together - I prefer to have the smaller stones in the back near the clasp and the larger ones in the front, so I may re-do it and post the changes later...

I have done some serious research into "getting it right" and have a written sheet that goes with it when I have sent them out in swaps, explaining the chakras that the stones stand for and the properties most often associated with the stones in the pieces.

Then again - since the traditional chakra is also a reversed rainbow, some people like it just because it is a rainbow of all colors and can be worn with about anything!

I just have fun making these!

I love doing the magnetic hematite lengths as they are fun to make (though time consuming) and fun to play with when they are done, LOL! I think this is one of my favorite ones and I may do up a few.

I still want to re-do the necklace as I think it looks misproportioned (word?) but I got busy with a swap and didn't get it done.

I ended up leaving it the way it was and sending it off as a gift for a swap...

still not totally sure I like the way it looked with the smaller beads in the front, but it framed the pendant better that way.
