probably the wrong assumption to make here but...you don't like to melt beads or anything do you?   Wink

this is a great idea, and if I still had my floor lamp, I'd have to give this a try.  what else can I do this with...hmmm...

Seriously, I am in awe [grin] Bead melting had never really occurred to me till I noticed a few people mentioning on Craftster. I assume it mostly uses big plastic pony beads? Can you do it in a conventional oven without a) ruining your project b) dying of fumes and c) contaminating everything you ever cook for the next three decades?
