How in the world do you do that?  I know how to make record bowls but can't quite wrap my head around how to do this.  I have a ton of mardi gras beads and would like to try this

I can't wait to see what you come up with!  Here's the basic idea (look at my pictures in the second post, specifically)... http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=100703.0

I used the same process for this one, but now I use a huge cake pan instead of a pizza pan (to get more depth in the shade).

Oh god, I just freecycled an upright that would have been perfect for this! Cry Sweets, I love, love, love this and the old one from your link! Must scour op shops for beads tomorrow.
