because they're naturally high! hee hee.

y hello thar!

This is Aethelred the Unready, (bonus points if you get the geeky British history reference) so named because he sold before I had taken any pictures of him and I had to quick snap pictures at the sales desk as he was getting rung up.  He was entirely needle-felted, with pipe cleaner armatures in the legs and neck.

a good shot of his manly proportions

I work at a fiber store (hence the selling him bit--I got paid to make him! Eeeee!), so I just grabbed stuff from the bins to make him, and don't really remember what I used.  I'm sad he sold, though! He's sad too, see:

Godspeed, Aethelred.  Godspeed.

He's adorable, I would have snapped him up too!  You did a great job with both form and color.
At least one person from the US got your reference - I did junior year abroad at UEA a million years ago and had to do a paper in defense of Aethelred the Unraed (I think the prof hated Americans)!  He is still my favorite underdog from British history, poor fellow.

Thanks for the lovely feedback, everyone! And bonus points to grendelsmom for the dork reference.  Oh, English history.
