I've got it all figured out, how to do this swap and the fat girl/boy swap... and only have two swaps to make for at a time. I've sent for the Post Secret swap... so I'll sign up for this one, and I'll sign up for the fatty swap as soon as I send for the Tim Burton one!

Liralera, I adore Tim Burton's TNBC. The idea of a women who could always put her self back together was very appealing. I have the Sally doll right in front of me actually!

I always loved Sally for that, too. She was the smart one, I say. =) Especially since she caused most of the mess to be fixed! I just wonder if the coming apart at the seams and sewing oneself back together was a fortunate coincidence or a symbol for women to model. Hm! =)

I also loved Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd, from a more theatrical point a view. It's just funny how someone can be that pragmatic as to make people into pies. To me, she was the realistic one, Mr. Todd was the idealistic one. He just had his ideals shattered.

Otherwise, her fixation on Mr. Todd was a bit... depressing, to say the least. She had too little independence for herself, I thought.

I have the questionnaire in progress, but it's sort of a mini-dissertation so I need to cut it back...though I still have more to add.  I think about the questions while I work (manual labor without brain-work right now = good thinking-time), which is good because we have our ideas of what feminism etc is, and those need to be re-examined from time to time since we're always changing and growing.

I don't know what I'm going to make yet either, but there will be plenty of people, quotations and ideas for inspiration. I have ideas, but I want to wait til I get my partner (and actually get approved for the swap!) to get started.

I am finding myself in a very thick crafting place. I am in 3 swaps right now. However.....I have ideas for all but 1 and I'm sure I can figure it out. Not to mention I will be on spring break for an entire week so I will be crafting everything then.......well on top of all the reading and homework and studying.....


...I've sorta started crafting for this one. But I'm not very far there was just something I was dying to make for this swap since I got all the materials so...you know.

11 days until we have partners! Yay!
