don't think this works on me, so the bottom skirt bit has been rippes off 'cos I love the boobage part- it has an old bra sewn in  Wink - and I hope to do something else with it... not sure what yet though.

front, complete with chins and brain slug which from my expression I must have Sad

back, complete with toddler and gormless look on her face!!

this is very pretty...I love the top as well, it's quite flattering.
I like the skirt too, but I think it it is a bit too long...perhaps an asymetrical just below the knee length? I dunno....

And I think I have one of those brain slugs too...quite clever Smiley

i LOVE the concept of the dress! keep it! it favors the dress that i'm rockin right now from Torrid

however, i dont think that print is flattering or brings you out! make another one in a better print or color in my honest opinion!!

I think the problem with the fit of the skirt  is mainly right under the girls where it gets kinda wrinkly. YOu might try making and a-line skirt cut on the bias. That will give the fabric a little more shape and flowiness so it looks more like a skirt and less... sheet-like?  The top part looks lovely, though, you should definitely try to salvage it!

i think the top looks awesome! i would put in a contrasting waistband (like the same shade of dark purple in the flowers), shorten the skirt, and put some panels in the side to make it flared.

i think a waistband in this would make a big difference to differentiate between the torso and leg parts of this... i agree, the part that's wrinkly under the boob area doesn't do a lot for you, but i'm not sure how to fix it  Undecided

I think the top is great, but agree with the other poster that said a waist - or yoke part would help alot.  I kinda like the print, very fun and *happy* which I've heard that people with brain slugs need to wear. Wink
