to be able to help you need to give us a bit more info.

when is it breaking? eg in the middle of an embroidery on a certain stitch type?

what fabric are you using?

check these things also.

1. make sure your thread is not getting caught on anything as it comes into your machine.
2. are the screws on your needles plate tight and the needle plate does not move.
3. without any fabric on the machine, use the hand control and slowly turn the needle up and down, now watch as the needle goes into the needle plate, is it hitting the needle plate? or going through smoothly?
If it is hitting the needle plate it may be your needle bar( the bit that holds the needle and goes up n down) maybe bent and need replacing.

4. try a different brand of needle, sometimes you can get a dude batch that snap for no real reason.

sometimes if the design is very dense it can put pressure on the needle causing it to weaken and then later it can break ( not always though)

The only times I ever break needles is when something that shouldn't be there is ( Huh) a pin or something. And when the thread gets snagged on the spool. I have some embroidery thread I can not use b/c it does not unroll right and catches.

Have embroidery machine, will do personal swaps. I can embroider hundreds of designs, some logos. Tinkerbell, Mickey, names etc. PM me!!!
