I love making slugs.

My sister in law Jules wanted something home made for xmas again this year so I made her a knapsack...

here is it modelled by my hot husband.

and from behind...

and a front view.

it's done on a bigger but basically the same mental pattern I have for my toy slugs, only this time it has a lined bag part too. the base is made from pleather taken from an old handbag, and the zipper matches the pleather 'cos i basically ripped the liner out of the bag and inserted it into the slug! the strap was hard to find. i wanted to use a belt, ut my sis in law is a major veggie so it needed to have not been anywhere near an animal. unfortunately, even in the cheapest shops in my home town it's impossible to get anything other than leather so I opted for the sequin belt which is also stretchy so fits comfortably around jule's bust. she refused to be in any photos hence why the mr had to do it instead.

That is the most epic, badass bag that I have ever had the pleasure of viewing.

Kudos.

I adore this, it is just the cutest bag I have ever seen and the fabric choice is perfect.

That's awesome. Actually, I think it's better with the shiny for a strap... it really DOES kinda look like slime. Smiley Way amazing! Love it!
