OK, so I just started an internship Tuesday, and I was told that they have a Mandatory Valentines Exchange Wink.  We are doing little cards, and everyone must make their own box to receive their cards, if you don't, you get a plastic sack with your name written on it with a sharpie.

So tonight my husband and I worked on some robot lovin'.

My Valentines Box: LoveBOT

Isn't he cute? He's made out of a Ziploc bag box, some silver tissue paper, and some stickers/paper out of a wedding scrap pad I got on super sale at Target Tuesday evening.

Here are some close ups:

Left side, with my name

Right side, with his personal motto

Back side, showing creases!

Backside, like a Cabbage Patch, has his name on his butt.

Here he's opening up his compartment.  I based most of his design off of Bender from "Futurama," hence the swinging door (also, this way I can get my Valentines out!), antenna, and "bad boy attitude."

With my box completed, I need to work on what to give to my co-workers.  Last year I had found these awesome free Valentines you can print out from blissfully bitter. So cute! However, my printer sucks, so I cut out some cardstock, and drew them myself.

Too cute, if I say so myself.

Here's the army on my couch.  They are stapled to little bags filled with Snickers, Sweettarts, et cetera

Happy Valentine's Day!

That's the most adorable box. Wouldn't it have been awesome to have that on your school desk as a kid? I guess it's never too late. Smiley Great job!
Great way to recycle too!

LoveBOT is so cute!  My youngest daughter is a robot freak and is in 3 year old preschool.  They have to make their own boxes, too.  Thanks to you, I now know what I am am going to attempt for her.  She will love it!  I'll let her help decorate him when he is constructed.

My son, who is in preschool and has to bring his own box, insisted on a Love bot.  When I agreed to it, he said, "I love this day the best of my life!!"  We now have our version of your lovebot sitting on our table!  Thank you so much for the idea!! It was a lot of fun to make with him and I know it's going to be the coolest one in his class! Smiley
