Being Valentine's Day, and being that my boyfriend loves comics so much, I made this for him.



It's all made out of cheap felt (all I had that was color appropriate), but I'm really pleased with the results, and he liked it Smiley

(sorry for the crappy pic quality, I only have my cell to take pictures for now)

my hubby is like the biggest superman fan ever. How big is it?

It's about 5 inches tall all told, fits nicely in the palm of my hand. Smiley The symbol itself is probably an inch and a half or so. It's a red felt base with little yellow felt cutouts sewn on, and each of the cutouts are bordered with blue embroidery thread to make them pop a little bit. The heart took maybe 25 minutes to finish. The symbol, on the other hand, took at least two hours.

What I learned most from this project is that, next time I want to use a Superman symbol, I'll buy a patch... hehehe Smiley
