I'm trying to stalk but my partner's tastes are so far out of my realm LOL  I think with a little research (and maybe a few links to help me out) I will find something perfect to inspire the creativity and have  agreat time crafting something new Cheesy

I will try to post my kitchen pictures tonight, or tomorrow when I get back from my grueling 4 hour blood test marathon tomorrow.

You know what I really enjoy? Getting a partner who likes things that easily inspire me.

So.. I've been waiting for this swap to start and have been thinking up bunches of ideas. As soon as I got my partner info, I stalked a few posts and her wist and think I have a really good feel for her style.

And.. I'm done! Grin
I crafted my bootie off tonight, but I got everything finished, plus a few extras. I'm so happy with everything and the way it all turned out. I was just in the "kitchen goodies" moment and went with it. I hope you'll love everything loopylamb!

P.S- if anyone is interested in seeing what I made, I'd be happy to share some extra inspriation.  Wink

And finally, here are a few pics of my kitchen.

Lots of green in person. Accents of red, white and wood. I totally had my brother put up my pans on the wall when he came to visit.  Smiley

my partner is the total opposite to me LOL! This could be interesting..or disastrous! Maisiemama you are going to have to post pictures quick! Wink

I  am sure it won't be disastrous!!  Well, my kitchen is still getting put back together after our big painting adventure this week, so I don't want to post a pic of the whole kitchen yet....I will work on it tomorrow and post a full shot then...but in the meanwhile, here's some inspiration:

This is my favorite kitchen chair.  Thrifted, of course.... with a homemade chair cushion that I inherited from my late grandma.  I have a whole set, and I love them.  She knitted one big long tube, stuffed it with nylons, and coiled them.  From her I also inherited a huge collection of vintage Fiestaware, which is what inspired my kitchen theme and colors.  My walls are the same red of vintage fiesta ware, and I used cobalt blue and the green from that chair as accents.
So if you need color inspiration, Sajona,  google vintage Fiestaware...that was my stepping stone for inspiration for my kitchen!!

I am so glad everyone is already having fun with this....

and seaofstars, my god...you are done, girl?   Whoah...I guess I better go start up a gallery thread!!

well i stalked you last night and found your picture of the fiestaware so that has been printed off - along with your fabric sample etc!
Think I'm getting some ideas.
