I found the apple and pear fabric at JoAnne's and had to have it, I had no ideas what to do with it but my other purse I made had seen better days so I decided to use the fruits as appliques and in about four hours Sunday night I had a new purse. I made up the pattern based off a bag I got at old navy a few years ago. Its lined with pink to match the pears and it just makes me so happy. Also, when I washed the grey fabric it came out with lines where it was folded and squashed but I kind of like how it adds more to the purse.

I Love this!  I like the way the fabric washed as well, really nice.  Much more understated than an all-over print would have been...

If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.
