I found this on eBay, it's a handknit copy of a Dries van Noten sweater. Has anyone seen a pattern anywhere for something like this? It looks like it's knit horizonally in the stockinette part. Looks so familiar....Thanks in advance!

Never seen it before, but it looks like a simple top down raglan, with the part down to where you take off the sleeves done in a reverse stockinette, then changed to a stockinette after taking off the sleeves, plus some increases to make it flare out.

You should be able to figure out how much you want it to flare out and increase accordingly ...

Thanks! I think I could do that...just thought I'd put it out there, because I'm kind of lazy.

Ah, but top-down raglan patterns are just made for us lazy people! Really and truly!!!! (no one could be lazier than me, I swear!)

Perhaps you can refer to this pattern: http://obsessedwithknitting.googlepages.com/bandersnatch

Now how did I miss that one? That looks like a great place to start; same funnel neck, etc. Thanks!
