A burning desire to use the faux pintuck my serger can do (its just a rolled hem on a folded edge so its not cut)

Circle skirt bottom with printed linen:

the hem is a rolled hem too b/c I couldn't imagine trying to do a regular hem on such a curved edge.  Can I say enough wonderful things about the rolled hem?

(Its driving me mad that there is an uncut thread hanging off the bottom in the pics!)

See pintucks?

Another dress, same sorta thing, this time with a gathered skirt and no sleeves.

This dress is also for a swap and the very last of this fabric (except scraps) which is probably becoming familar to some of y'all.

My bow tying skills... not good  Tongue

pintucks and vintage button

Whaddya think?

Forget about wanting that dress when i was younger i want that blue dress now and in my size. Those two dresses are too cute. As always though neither are as cute as the model.

Yet again I feel compelled to kneel in the presence of your genius.  SO cute!  Smiley  I especially like the blue one--I want a dress for myself in that fabric!

Hooray for rolled hems!  (It's now official--I don't "want" a serger, I NEED one.  Wink)
