I made this bag from applesaregreen tutorial for my mother-in-law's crochet projects. I didn't do a zipper, because I am still afraid of them  Tongue

I like how it turned out, but the next one I am definatly putting in a zipper and I am going to add interfacing.

looks a little wonky here, but it isn't like that

I think not having a zipper made the shape a bit odd.

I made this bag from applesaregreen tutorial for my mother-in-law's crochet projects.

You did a really good job hun, and don't be afraid of zips, they're far easier than they look and even easier with tutorials you can find in craftster!

What I'm wondering, is where did you find the apples are green tutorial please?

Hugs

Here is the link to applesaregreen's original post (with pics of her stunning bags)
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=178244.0

It says the tutorial is on page 10, but unfortunatly her pictures aren't working anymore. Someone hosted it for her; here is the link to that:
http://groups.google.com.br/group/costureiradearaque/files

It is called receita-pleatness bag.doc

Thanks everyone! I really like how it turned out for my first try. I am almost done with my next one (which I included a zipper). Will post pictures as soon as I finish!

I think it turned out great and I love your fabric and color choices!  I like it with the tab closure, actually!  But you'll probably see a difference with some interfacing the next time you make one.  Great work, it's really cute!  Cheesy
