The pattern is from Spring 2007 issue of Interweave Knits, called "Bonsai Tunic".
This is the original look:

I made it out of Cascade 220 in .. some unknown green. I increased the ribbing at the waist to 5" instead of 3" because I'm long waisted. I did 1x1 rib instead of 2x2, omitted the tie waist and split for the neck after knitting up 2.5" instead of the 1" the pattern calls for.

There was no 36" bust size (it went from 34-38 without anything in between :/) so I fudged with the needle size to get a 36" , more or less. My back is quite narrow so I decreased a little more..

I love it more than I thought I would.

Great job!  Yours looks so much prettier than the pattern photo!  That is way nicer than my first knitted garment - I will never wear that thing out of the house.

It seriously wasn't that hard to do, just the front piece and the back piece.
I find patterns really overwhelming, but when you just break it down and do it one step at a time, it's really a lot simpler than it looks!
