That is really awesome! I love the colors. I definitely love it... Of course, my favorite color is safety yellow (like, the color the road-repairmen wear), so.... maybe my judgment isn't the best. But I love it!

It's really simple to make!  All it is is a rectangle folded in half and sewn up the sides!  I've seen fleece hats like this too.

I have seen the fleece versions but I never thought to add the tassels! I know someone who would love this hat. How did you do the tassels?

For the tassels, I wrapped some yarn between my thumb and elbow till I had the thickness I wanted. Then cut one end of it to make lots of strands of yarn.  Now this part is kind of tricky to explain, but it's really easy to do...

I put my crochet hook through one corner of the hat, the with the yarn folded in half, I pulled all the strands through to form a loop, then pulled the ends through the loop just formed.  It was kind of like latch hooking lol
