My ball dress and I are no longer friends...aka i hated it

Well I made this for my school ball out of a pattern i just made in my head, but I originally had a nice long white skirt that had a train down the back and was just really nice, until on the day before the ball i hated it!! I know what's wrong with me and all of a sudden the skirt was not to be and I sewed two layers of lace onto the bottom as the skirt, and that was that and I spent the entire night regretting it and wishing i'd bought a dress.. anyway here are two pics, the second one sucks sorry but the other ones i look like a mega dawk because i'm trying to shrink to be my friends height because i love heels and they do not, and i'm just super lanky!!!

Haha thanks my hairdresser's really cool I've known him since we he was an apprentice so he always does my hair and makeup for things like this for super cheap and in return i model for him.. it was his idea the makeup and hair!

i second runaweasgood when she says you look like straight out of a magazine. honestly i thin you could waer about anything and still look neat, but your dress just perfect. your dress looks as good as all the bought ones, plus you made it yourself.
i mean i do still wonder how the dress was like (or rather how you looked in it) before you decided to rework it, but yeah.... still the result is just gorgeous!
