Shall I be a cream-face loon?
Anybody ever seen an old book called Twisted Tales from Shakespeare,by Richard Armour? Full of stuff like "thou knowest the mask of night is on my face" explained as Juliet being chagrined at being caught in her cold cream by Romeo.
This swap is very tempting.Somewhere I have an old black and white photo of myself from 6th grade, wrapped up in a bedsheet toga, from our class doing the assasination bit from Julius Caesar.
Oh,the heck with it.I need to do this.

Yeah,I wish I could find my copy of that book.It gets better."Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?"(Hot? Sweaty?Fly infested?)The writer really does know his shakespeare,though.
This is going to be a great swap.I've got a few ideas, although I'm not starting anything until I know what my partner likes. It's still fun to plan. And,despite my Twisted Tales from Shakespeare posts,I promise not to make a joke of this.Unless my parter's favorite things are the comedies... Grin
It's funny-I started with the tragedies in high school(Macbeth,Hamlet).
My teacher ruined Shakespeare for me for years. We had to sit in class while she played a scratchy old record of the play, and we silently read along in our books.Shudder.My next teacher had us study Shaw's Arms and the Man,assigned us parts to read aloud, encouraged us to ham it up-I still love that play.

I need to start crafting NOW!!!!

I have loads of ideas for this swap! I am currently in 2 others as well so I will be spending most of my spring break crafting. But to make matters all the more difficult I am setting a limit on spending for all of them and I am going to try and just craft out of my stash with minimal purchases. Good thing I have a large craft closet to go through!

Ugh, I'm not very knowledgeable about Shakespeare's work  Tongue (though I took a course in school and have read my fair share of plays)....but if you started up a Dickens or Wilde swap, I'd be in, in IN!

Have fun, anyway!
