Details of swap:

This swap is for anyone that finds joy in those little lost notes found on sidewalks and old library books.  You can learn more about the FOUND phenom here.

What I'm asking participants to do is to create something with things they have found.  Use photos, notes, mittens or anything else that you have stumbled upon.  Please keep in mind that some pretty nasty things can be found on the curb, so please don't send your partner anything you think could be offensive.  If you have questions please contact your partner or the swap moderator.

Each participant would be expected to make 7 points worth of items.  Large items are worth 3 point, medium items are worth 2 and small items are worth 1 point.  This allows people a little more room to be creative.  Please keep in mind an item doesn't have to be physically 'large' to be considered a BIG project.  What I'm considering is the time and energy put into a project.

This sounds fun, but I don't think I'll have enough time to devote to "7 points"...I shall have to ponder this.............

I've only ever found a photo of a woman pretending to dance with a bear.

But this swap got me thinking about the movie Amelie.
1 - the bloke finds un-wnated photos under the photo booths in the mall and sticks them back together in his book
2- when Amelie finds the young boys treasured items box bhind a broken tile in her bathroom.

I will probably be watching this swap

Yay, I'm in!!     I'm always at my school after closing for various practices, and I find so many things in the hallways.

I hope people aren't too intimidated by the 7 points.  I wouldn't expect someone to knit an afghan with tape from old cassettes they found...

I came to the conclusion of 7 points because I figure during a swap I make one big, one medium and a couple small items.  A bookmark would be an example of a small item.

If anyone has any questions about sizes or anything swap related please feel free to ask!  I really want people to sign up for and enjoy this one!  It has tonnes of possibilities.

Mmmm, it's only my second swap and I have a very active little baby so I was a bit scared by the 7 points, but hopefully inspiration will strike and it'll be ok!

A question: can we post our finds before we start crafting? I think it could be fun to share and maybe get the discussion going, or would it be better to keep all of it as a surprise for the end?
