I tackled my first Ottobre pattern this weekend.  It felt like it took forever, but actually I started it Saturday afternoon and finished Sunday evening, in between taking care of my sick 5 year old.  Not sure how that happened.
So, my 3 year old was the lucky recipient.  The dress is on the cover of the Spring '08 issue.  Little one saw it and told me she wanted it, so I went for it.  All that gathering!  It's not perfect, but she loves it and dresses are her thing.  You can see jealous big sister in the background.  They are almost the same size and yellow is HER favorite color.  I'm surprised she was such a big girl about it, but she has gotten a few Mommy-made items lately.

This is my first time posting a completed project, so I'm not sure how to do the photos.  We'll see if it works!

Comments are welcome!

Very cute dress. And the big sister was really sweet... I know, I wouldn't have behaved  that well if my sister got a dress and I didn't!  Roll Eyes

Thanks for the compliments.  My big girl is a very good girl.  Plus, she got a Holly Hobby fleece zip-up jacket a couple of weeks ago, made by Mommy.  And, a crocheted newsboy cap that she refuses to wear, but treasures anyway.
