I absolutely love making these. Easy to do, fun, unique and one of a kind, and the the possibilities are ENDLESS.  Here are some of my latest coasters. Skull beads and bones never go out of style. And yes, the green skulls and beads glow in the dark. How cool is that. I used the resin from Lowes (don't let the sales guy tell you it won't work), beads (Ebay is full of deals for beads), and my imagination. Enjoy

those are great! What kind of form did you cast(?) them in? I've worked with rubber and plaster molds but never tried resin.

Thanks. These things are always a big hit. I use a two part resin (clear coat) from Lowes and for molds, I use the plastic containers that electrical tape comes in. I'm glad everyone likes them. Now I just got to make more.

Ooh ooh ooh, I love this! And they glow in the dark? Super awesome! No excuses now for not using a coaster - the damned things glow!

Those beads are fantastic too.

I'm glad you mentioned you used the clear coat instead of casting resin, that's what I plan to experiment with as I have nearly full bottles in the cupboard  Embarrassed but have been too lazy to get started.

Great work!Eve.
