 Here are my first craftster inspired creations

Cute. I really like the second one, it has a very "mod" flair.

It's not if you "copy" someone else's idea, 9/10 times they got it from somewhere else anyway. It's how you turn their ideas into your own or make them better, and if you ask me that's something original just like what you've done.

I really like these... I have been wanting to make a book purse for a while now but haven't been brave enough to try it.  One question though, how did you get those nifty reinforced holes in the first one that you have the strap threaded through? Is it a special tool or do you just buy the rings and poke them in?? I really like all of these purses they are wonderful!

I like the first one with the grommets--that's a nifty idea!  But they all look really nice.

I want to know how you cut the holes for the gromets? They look so neat, I'm afraid I would do a sloppy job trying to cut through the thickness of a book.

The first one really catches my eye, but I like all three.  I'd also like to know how you did the grommets.  I bought a book last year to make a book purse.  It never happened.  You've inspired me to start thinking about it again.

I love these bags.  I would love to make some, but I love to read and I would have a hard time taking a book apart to make a bag.  It always makes me mad when I let someone borrow a book and I get it back all messed up.
