I finished mine this morning too. I used the jokers covered in the same scrapbook paper i printed all the 'things' on as the covers and i used little bitty letters out of a magazine to collage:"How do i love thee, let me count the ways" and then 52 in big cut out numbers. and in small type: 'reasons i love you'
The reference to the poem is actually very personal cause i memorized it and said it to him at our wedding almost 8 years ago. I honestly thought it was going to be hard to come up with 52 but once i got started i couldnt stop so  i had to adopt the first 52 rule. I place them randomely except for all the heart ones, i put especially amorous things on those! I tried to take pics but the camera i have is borrowed and cheap and it wont focus well, so no pics! Thanks for the inpiration. I think it will go over very well!

My cards after spraying them: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=226651.msg2462320#msg2462320

My list is '52 sexy activities for me and you', for my husband.  With 2 preschool kids at home, making a list of creative intimate stuff as 'IOU's is a great way to remind us to be 'hubby and wife' and NOT just 'Daddy and Mommy'.
They aren't too sexual or explicit, cause that's not my style.  They are more creative, intimate, romantic ways to spend time together (that may or may not lead to more).

A few of the inside pages:

The outside:

The cover is just 2 of the jokers, glued together for sturdyness.  I attached a glittery felt heart someone gave me, and then did a bit of drawing and doodling on the card and heart with Sharpies, paint pens, and gel pen.  I also sprayed the whole deck with perfume. Wink  I tied a few little ribbons and fibers on it.

All done!:

a big GIANT Thank-you to Kaesea for this fabulous idea!

OriginalYouth -- those are so beautiful! I love how creative you got with this!

diy sami -- those heart-shaped cards are fabulous! It definitely kicks the project up a notch!

I'm so happy that this little project took off like this -- I'm a big sap for Valentine's Day, so this warms the cockles of my sappy, schmoopy heart!  Wink

If anyone else makes one, be sure to post!

Ooh! I don't think I have time to do this tonight (technically only 3 hours, 50 minutes and counting til Vday) and I have to figure out what I'm making for dinner tomorrow but I think I will use this for our 4 year anniv (next month)
What a wonderful idea!

Thanks so much for posting this idea!
I read it just after I picked up a cool set of cards from the shops, so it was just perfect!
We dont say the love thing, so I changed it to suit us, and made it more of a photo albumn.
Thanks again!

I made one for my boyfriend of one year and he flipped through it then tossed it onto the couch so he could show me his new computer gadget.

I think this is the last time I make a Valentine's Day present for anyone.

This is why I don't like valentine's day...too much pressure to give a lovey gift and too much pressure to like a lovey gift.  I got my husband a shower head.  Yep, a plumping device.  I hate spending time and effort on something thoughtful if I don't think the person is going to appreciate it.  Sorry this happened to you.  It sucks that the gifts we like to give and receive are usually not the same types of gifts our guys are into.
