Okay, I've got my list of 52 things ready to print out and I'm heading into town to find the binder rings. I have a mini-deck of cards and will try to post a pic when it's all done.

One question before I start gluing.....do you think I should put the cards in order by color, every other color, hearts first, spades first, just do it randomly or.....?

I decided to go for totally random with mine. Otherwise, I knew I would get hung up on the arrangement... and what if two "things" didn't flow well from one into another, but the card order said they should go there, blah, blah, blah. Just like going with the first 52 things I thought of, this decision helped to quiet my perfectionist mind. Can't wait to see yours!

Thanks to everyone for all of the compliments. I'm glad that this project has inspired so many people! Even for the few posters who weren't sure that their Valentine would appreciate this, I encourage you to try it -- you might be surprised! I'm working on mine today, I decided to go with a '52 things we can do together' list, since I think he'd appreciate that more.  Sort of like little love coupons for romantic inspiration together. wink wink.

I started by lightly spray painting the faces of the cards, so they won't be stark (and be more like backgrounds instead) and am using a few sheets of self-adhesive blank labels for my sentiments on each.

I'll post when I get farther along.

Oh man!
