This is so cool!  I don't have a boyfriend to make anything for, but I've been wanting to make a book with thick pages and I wasn't sure how to bind it, but I think this would work just fine.  Thanks!

I don't have a laminating machine but maybe some fabric wrapped cardboard could work Smiley


There is contact paper that is made especially for laminating -- about $5/roll US.  I think it has 24 sq. ft.  (I bought some this weekend, hence the stats.)  Anyway, it's very effective and gives the same results as a laminating machine.
