Deck of cards = awesome, easy, romantic gift!

That is such a cute idea!!  I love how you used just a deck of cards!!  How did you punch the holes, though?  With just a hole puncher, or something else?  Now, if only I had a bf... actually, that could work just as easily with friends!  Good idea...

This is a really cool idea. I've got this unopened deck of cards that a friend gave me a couple of Christmases ago and I've thought it would be cool to decorate it in some way. I might not necessarily do "52 Things I love About You" but I like that they look kind of like a book that way. Neato! :]

what size binder rings did you use?

This is an excellent question, because the first ones I bought were too small and I had to go back and buy more! These are 1 inch.

How did you punch the holes, though?  With just a hole puncher, or something else?

I used a hole punch... and now that I'm remembering... I think I used my 3 hole punch, which allows you to adjust how far apart the holes are. So I made two of them pretty close together and then, of course, I only used those two.

If you only have a hand-held one-hole-at-a-time punch, I would recommend making some sort of template, so that your holes pretty much line up.
