I "painted" on some mugs just now, an I want to be able to seal it so they are washable. The medium is part sharpie and part acrylic. I have artist's varnish but it's too harsh and just wipes off the image.
Maybe if i sponged it?
what about spray glue?
I thought about clear nail polish but i'm worried it would do the same thing as the varnish.
any suggestions?

Note: I put the acrylic varnish in a spray bottle - it doesn't work and I essentially just ruined an hour and a half of work. Bah.
