So my BF was working all day so I decided to make a new/old shirt to wear out tonight.  I had on old tee I couldn't part with and a cardigan that was too tight.  I started by cutting off the sleeves and neckline.  I then started to dissect the cardigan and came up with this!

My Lulu couldn't resist getting in the shot.

crappy shots of the button details...

hope you all like it...it's not perfect and needs work but I'm totally in love with it!

That's totally cute. The buttons are a nice touch.

I almost cried at the fact that you mutilated a cardigan (cardigans are my favorites) but I LOVE the end result, especially the button detail. So...it's okay.

I absolutely love cardigans too (have them in every color)  Unfortunately, I've put on a few lbs so didn't want to button anymore, but I couldn't stand seeing it in the toss out pile.  Thanks so much!  I wore it out last night a got quite a few compliments on it.
