OMG!  I'm making two of those right now!!!  I know your pain!  I'm making one right now for a swap and another soon after for myself!  My squares are 6" (um... 15ish cm?) after the seams.

SSSOOOO beautiful!  SSSOOOO patient!  SSSSOOO colour cordinated!  You did an amazing job and I think you look absolutely adorable!

This is soooooo cute!!!   I'm starting mine today!  I was lucky enough to be given a HUGE box of vintage fabric recently, but most of it is a quarter yard or less, so this should be a fun way to use some.   I did have one question, though-- Does yours close with a side zipper?  And if so, is it just on the waistband, or does it go down through the red tier?  Thanks!!!

No, no zip Cheesy the circley bit is about as wide as the widest bit of my hips. Obviously that doesn't stay up Cheesy so the waistband pulls it closed with buttons. Not amazingly secure, but it works....
