This was so much fun!  I love everything Emlee_bee got/made for me (and my little one)!

Here we are opening the package:

My little one taking out the Thomas Fabric:

Getting really excited!

Trying it on:

In her "dress":

The goodies:

(you don't know how bad I needed that seam ripper - I broke mine last night trying to take the metal thingy off a button!)

The project - two matching aprons! Smiley  One for me and one for little one...unfortunately I couldn't get an action shot of her in it...she was too busy playing trains...

Emlee_bee also send some great pink polka dot fabric - I think with one I'll make a pillow case dress for my little one and use the dress pattern for the other. Smiley  Oh and of course make a few Thomas dresses - the fabric is already in the wash (now dryer) and ready to be crafted! Smiley

Emlee_bee - thank you so much for being such a great swap partner!  This was a great swap! Smiley

I got the duckies and piggies at our local fabric store called Fabric Place - I think you can order it online too, but I'm not sure.

What a wonderful Valentine's surprise! I recieved both of my packages today! I am going to put them in separate posts to give them their glory!

I started by opening Castaways package because it was on top. I don't know how she fit all of this in one shoebox.

Here is an attempt at getting everything in one picture:

She made me an adorable tool belt, if tool belts could ever be adorable! She made this because she is SO thoughtful and stalked me good. In a month or so I am going to be moving to Kentucky to volunteer w/ Christian Appalachian Project and there is a good chance that some of that volunteer work will be repairing and building houses. I love this fabric and she also made me a matching tote/lunch box and 2 button pouches, as well as an adorable turtle and cupcake, a coffee cozy! two heart pins and a metal and beaded pin!

She also sent me great notions and this quilt binding book looks great, because I don't really know the right way to do that. I've just winged it in the past.

Thank you so much Novena! and great job on your first swap. You are an awesomely generous and thoughful swap partner! I am so excited about all the scraps you sent me!

Secondly, I opened Squidget's box!

Once again, everything in one picture:

She found wonderful fabrics for me that I love! And made an awesome appliqued sewing machine tote bag and a great little needle book.

For my smalls she sent me buttons (in an adorable tin), zippers, quilting thread and lots of squares for my postage stamp quilt and a pattern and plastic to make wallets.

I had two awesome swap partners for this swap and couldn't have asked for more! I think I will be able to get a good chunk of my postage stamp quilt done from the fabrics I have recieved!

I hope you two like what I made as much as I love yours!

Wow there is some amazing stuff going on around here already!  I now have swap anxiety!!!

The material I am sending is going to look so dull in comparison - but it is sooo bagworthy!  I really tried to send things for my partner and her bag making addiction!

Nerves nerves...settle nerves!
