So my boyfriend likes to cook and last big cooking day we had he said I needed to make him an apron. I thought this would be a great occasion to make him a special apron. I just can't seem to think of any good ideas to personalize it. I have no problems with making it something cute and somewhat embarrassing to wear.  Cheesy Grin

Some things he likes:
Alton Brown
Poker
Football
Lost
Star Trek
Stargate (we both love stargate. it has been a bonding experience between us lately Cheesy )
fancy chocolates
sushi
Las Vegas
The Rat Pack

Thanks in advance Smiley

Sort of off topic but have you seen those branding irons they sell online? They let you put initials on them.

The first thing I thought when I read your comment was that you were suggesting I brand my boyfriend.  Cheesy Cheesy

I havn't seen what you are talking about though, I'll look it up.

I saw this somewhere and thought it was humorous... a picture of a chicken grilling that says "eat beef."  It was embroidered on the front of the apron.

I made an apron for my cooking boyfriend for Christmas.
I got a cheap chef's hat and apron online from happychef (through amazon).
I went to thinkgeek.com and found the awesome quote "Chemistry is like cooking, only don't lick the spoon!" And so I switched it and put "Cookin' is like chemistry only now you can lick the spoon!" I also spelled "Cookin' " with blocks of material made out to be elements from the periodic table of the elements. C= carbon, O = oxygen, etc. And the Chef's hat had C He F on it. My boyfriend is a chemistry geek.

Anyways, he loves it. So maybe do something similar with other cool T-shirt sites online and find a fun saying to put on it?

Hope this helps.
