Details:
If you're a knitter or a crocheter, chances are you've heard of Debbie Stoller. She is the author of a collection of "Stitch n' Bitch" books for knitters and crocheters as an alternative to books with classic designs. They are for the modern craftster and I know all you hip ladies would love a chance at swapping knitted and crochet items from this series.

This swap will be split up into two groups, knitters and crocheters. If you would like to participate, and do both knitting and crocheting you may choose which group you would like to be in. Knitters will be sending to crocheters and crocheters will be sending to knitters. In order for this swap to be "low stress", the minimum requirement is 1 medium item. However, you may discuss with your partner about sending a few small items, or if you both are up to the challenge 1 large item each.

You must have access to at least one of the stitch n bitch books. I have included information on obtaining the books if you need to.

Questionnaire:
Name of swap
Craftster username
Email address
Your real name
Mailing address including the country
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country?
Any allergies you would like to note?
Do you want to be in the knitter group or the crochet group?
How would you rate your skill? (beginner, intermediate, advanced, expert)
Would you like to send 1 medium item, several small items, or 1 large item?
What would you like to receive? (if you have access to the other snb books, you may post a specific wishlist. If you do not have access to any other than yours, you may post a more general wishlist i.e. scarf, hat, purse)
Favorite Colors:
Favorite Color Schemes (example: Red, White, and Green):
Favorite Patterns/Designs (example: plaid, argyle, stars):
Favorite Themes (example: goth, preppy, girly):
Anything else you would like your partner to know?

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

I also suggest places like swaptree.com where you can trade books with other people, that way you don't have to pay any extra money.

Also check your local library for the books!

You're just lucky i can only organize three at a time Wink You should check out swaptree.com and see if you can trade some books for the other snb books, that way you don't have to go out and buy it.

Thanks everyone for the interest! But where are the knitters at? So far I've just gotten crocheters wanting to sign up, which is great but we also need knitters. Maybe I should put a link in my sig and stalk around the knitting section lol Grin
