Hi, i made this quite a while ago, but i want to share it with you.  Smiley

Pastel mermaid drawing (the fingers are quite weird  Embarrassed) i made it in high school.

This one, is a Boquinete, tropical fish from the Caribbean sea. it has nice colors, but it taste even better than it looks. Yummiiii. anyway, i made this in college, with food coloring. give it a try is very smoth, like watercolor. but you have to work fast.

and my top favorite, oil on canvas, made it for my college Bfriend. but somehow i manage to get it back a while after we broke up. thank god he was moving aou of town and couldn't take it with him.

so what do you think?

It's totally the colors that are getting me. Oh and the subject matter, I don't see tropical animals used very often in fine are and these are totally gorgeous. I stared at the dolphins for like 5 minutes thinking... I wonder if I could do that.

this painting, the dolphins, Is my favorite, oil on canvas, made it for my college Boyfriend, it had a lot of LOVE MEANINGS but somehow he didnt care about it, so thanks that he had to move out of town, he couldnt take it with him, and I got it back, and now its hanging on my brothers wall. At some point I tought of it as a love lucky charm, that is why i gave it to my Brother and his Girlfriend, but now i think it didnt had super powers, because they just broke up. How silly am I?

These are beautiful - the vibrant colors are wonderful!  I really like the fish and dolphins especially.  The last one, even though it is quite bright, seems very serene, almost surreal.

Did you intentionally not put eyes on the dolphins?  Were they also done using food coloring?

Very cool.
