I'm not sure whether this is in the right place...
One of my friends paid $30 for what appeared to be a reinforced tape measure with a buckle. So, being a craftster, I made my own.
The buckle cost me nothing, as it came from my collection of vintage buckles and buttons. The tape measure was a couple of dollars from a sewing shop. I still havent cut the little metal thing off the buckle, and excuse the bad pictures. It looks upside down AND backwards, because i took it in a mirror, but it is only upside down in reality.

It is sorta more decorative than anything else, but i feel special that i saved $28 Cheesy

EDIT: I think i got the pics working...

I think its really awesome!! Good job. I think I might make myself one too!!!  Cheesy
I guess it wouldn't be a good choice for someone who is self-conscience about their waist size though.  Undecided

Thanks Cheesy
My top isn't actually that short... *and I am self conscious of my waist size, i see it as drawing attention to my hips instead of my pudgy belly...*
