Hi everybody. I'd like to make my first pair of socks, but i can't seem to find just a nice, easy simple sock pattern. If anybody has a suggestion of a great book or a online pattern that would be great Smiley

I definitely recommend Getting Started Knitting Socks by Ann Budd. It has instructions for every kind of yarn and lots of pictures so that you know what you're doing. It also has a bunch of different leg patterns and tips, too. It's what I used to learn and I've made two pairs of socks from it so far.
Hope this helps!

How about the training sock?

You'll get all of the basics down and then you can move on to the big boys with all of the skills in tow.
