Hi!
Ill try and make the tute brief, if I can,
I have the pattern scanned, but I cant make it do anything, Ill keep working on it
(technical computer Grumble!)

crosses fingers that this works
Ok, I wanted the seams hidden and the elastic inside so it wouldnt chafe small feet,
if you want, you could just use one layer of fabric and make a casing for the elastic.
Cut 4 of each piece

Stitch one upper to a lining upper, leaving a hole in the middle of the seam to turn inside out

Zigzag elastic across the top of the wrong side of the outer upper

Fold the pieces in half, stitch along the back seam

Sew the soles to the corrosponding uppers,
I tend to do a tack stitch at one end to anchor the fabric, then start at the other end and sew right around.

Turn inside out through hole, and tuck lining inside outer

Tuck in opening, and top stitch around top,

Voila!
Find cute child to model

Hope that was useful!
Hints!
Measure the elasic to suit your own child.
A stretch stitch needle will work better than an ordinary needle. (for us who dont own a serger!)
Puff paint drawn on the bottom, will make these nonslip
(see my knotty slippers for explanation)
Feed each peice into your machine straight after the other, saves lots of time and cotton.

**** to make reversable***
when you have finished, zigzag over the elastic stitching to hold both layers of fabric together
tried it last night, works a treat!
