Have found myself to be weirdly attracted to the color pink lately, and thus, I bring you 3 different yarns in shades of pink.

First up, this unnamed yarn was made as a Christmas present for gleep.  She picked out the fiber during our excursion to Winterberry Farm last Oct.

It's about 2 oz and 215 yards.

Next we have "Be Mine"

This is 2 strands of hand dyed, handspun merino, plied with metallic thread.
1.75 oz and 75 yards.

And finally, there is "Faded"

1 strand of hand dyed merino plied with 1 strand of hand dyed bamboo.
5.75 oz and 220 yards

Oooohhh!

I love Faded!  I love the bamboo/wool combo where there is one ply of each, since you get the sproinginess of wool with the silkyshininess of bamboo.  Lovely!

I know exactly what you mean...I'm not a pink person, normally, but I'm always drawn to pink roving and handspun.  What the heck, yo?!?

I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's me with some yarn on my head.

Thanks, everyone.  I am very fond of Faded, because I love the merino/bamboo combo.  It's even more striking in person, and is absolutely lovely to fondle.

And the first yarn; I bought the fiber from Winterberry Farm, during an outing there in the fall; they don't specify what the dyeing process is, but I would guess that they use the natural colored wool as the base.  The color variations are really pretty.  Smiley
