Hello.  My name is Michelle, and I'm a felt-a-holic.

Is there a 12-step program for the use of felt?  I just bought more yesterday, and when I got home I decided my day planner could look better.

I cut the felt to the right size by laying the planner on it and cutting around it.  Then I stitched the applique on, then stitched the front piece to the back.

I added a pocket for a pen to the inside flap, then stitched the insides to the outsides, and slipped the planner into it.

I like how it came out.  I used a blanket stitch for the whole thing.

Yes - I know, I need felt-help!

That is awesome, I have been meaning to do something similar for my day planner.  I was having a hard time imagining it, so now I can use yours for inspiration.  Great job!
